We are excited to announce that InsectSense, in partnership with iBET, has been awarded support by EIT Food for the 𝗥𝗔𝗣𝗜𝗗𝗦 project (𝗥eceptor-based 𝗔cceleration of 𝗣rotein and 𝗜ngredient 𝗗evelopment from 𝗦idestreams) under the Impact Funding Framework.

Leveraging our 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗫 platform, which enables rapid and objective screening of taste and health-related bioactivity, RAPIDS will unlock the hidden potential of agricultural sidestreams and help transform waste into high-value ingredients. This project aims to support key EIT Food priorities including protein diversification, food waste reduction, and the transition towards a resilient and net-zero food system.

The project is also an important milestone for InsectSense: it enables us to scale up and validate the ReceptomiX technology for impactful real-world applications, paving the way to bringing this transformative technology to new partners across Europe and around the world. We look forward to collaborating with iBET and the EIT Food community to accelerate innovation towards a healthier and more sustainable future for food.
