InsectSense wins the Topsector Horticulture Innovation Prize 2021

After the great pitch of our co-founder Aria Samimi, the jury awarded us with the 1st prize with our #BeeSense technology. Directorate-General for Agriculture Marije Beens handed over the Innovation Prize this afternoon.

BeeSense is a novel technology that valorises the incredible smelling capability of bees 🐝 for early detection of plant diseases. It is a rapid, accurate, cost effective, and non-invasive detection technology that can help prevent significant economic losses in the agriculture and horticulture sector 🌿🌱. We already have proven during the pandemic the detecting capabilities of bees in detecting COVID19.
